Severe Behavior Treatment Clinic in Cherry Hill, NJ

Our team at Decades Construction Group was happy to provide this renovation of the Severe Behavior Day School in Cherry Hill, NJ, for our client, Bancroft. We are proud to be a member of the team that delivered this one of the first few of a kind facility in the nation to Bancroft which is designed to provide intensive clinic-based outpatient treatment for children and young adults who are experiencing severe behaviors such as aggression, self-injury, pica, or property destruction, that are interrupting their daily lives, impeding learning and preventing engagement in the community. The program, rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), incorporates evidence-based behavioral and medical support in a clinically rich environment.

This 8,000 square foot facility was a design build project that converted six previous medical offices into a single medical outpatient facility. The entire building was gutted and rehabilitated to provide space programmed to the very unique needs of this program and the population that it serves. The Decades Team managed and coordinated this project from property search, thru design until a turnkey project delivery was achieved.

New infrastructure included, upgraded central electric service, HVAC replacement, new incoming gas service, and Fire Alarm system.

The space was completely reprogrammed and built out to the specific needs of this highly specialized program. The project included finish upgrades throughout including specialty products providing for safety and durability.
