At Decades, our mission is rooted in a singular, unwavering goal: to care for your property so you can care for people. Founded in 2022 and based in Magnolia, New Jersey, we are a reputable construction and facilities management company with a unique, mission-driven focus on serving the intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) community.
In our short history, we have successfully completed over 100 specialized projects, bringing decades of industry expertise to organizations serving individuals with IDD. From purpose-built group homes to renovated day programs and vocational centers, our work prioritizes functionality, accessibility, and comfort—enhancing the quality of life for those you serve.
A Reflection on Our Journey
As we’ve grown, it became clear that our brand wasn’t fully aligned with who we are or why we do what we do. Inconsistencies in our branding—like a logo that looked different across marketing materials—signaled something deeper: our message wasn’t as cohesive as it needed to be. This realization sparked an important question: Does our brand truly reflect the passion and purpose that drive us?
The answer was clear: not yet.
Aligning with Our ‘Why’
One of the first decisions we made, was to change our name from “Decades Construction Group” to “Decades”.
Our mission has always been about more than construction. We’re here to make the impossible possible for people who desperately need it. We take pride in creating environments that empower organizations to operate efficiently and serve individuals with care and excellence.
However, our previous brand focused more on what we do than why we do it. We needed a transformation—a brand that speaks to our commitment to the IDD community and reflects the heart behind our work.
Establishing Brand Consistency
As previously mentioned, one major issue we faced was inconsistency with our logo. Because we were using one logo file for all of our marketing materials, the logo colors would look different printed than how the colors were displayed digitally. For example, the light blue color on the globe would sometimes look gray. In upgrading to the new logo, we now have a logo library of files and a logo spec sheet that allow for our Brand colors to be as consistent as possible whether we’re creating digital ads, building signage, or vehicle wraps.
Building a Brand That Reflects Our Purpose
Our rebrand was about embracing the essence of who we are and why we exist. It wasn’t just about refreshing our logo or updating our marketing materials. It was about capturing the very core of our mission: supporting your mission by ensuring your facilities remain assets, not liabilities.
Our skilled team, boasting over 75 years of combined construction industry experience, delivers tailored solutions across the entire building lifecycle—strategic planning, design, permitting, construction, renovation, and facilities management.
